Hi! I am Danielle, a sophomore at the Global Studies Academy at Tallwood High School. I like to play guitar, read fiction books, and watch anime. Out of school, I volunteer at elementary schools and libraries, and I also practice for traditional dances at the Philippine Cultural Center every week. I am currently taking 8 course classes as well as AP World History to get a feel for college level coursework. I have a pretty okay work ethic, but I still find school to be difficult to keep up with at times because of the wierd homeworks and projects the teachers bestow upon me and my peers. This is a blogging page that I made for my World Literature class to argue whether or not a four day school week is better than a five day school week for Va Beach public schools.

I drew this anime version of me in paint because I was bored... ^o^

Blog Project Reflection
The hardest thing about this project was not the project itself, but the fact that we had this project during testing time, but the project was pretty wasy except for finding good sources. I overcame these obstacles by multitasking this project with AP World History (probably not my best work >w<). Oh, also, it was kind of hard to find things to go on the wiki that was relevant to a suburban area. On my wikispace I made the language seem more relate-able (is that a word? O.e) and it definitely has my voice behind it. I think that my wikispace is easy to navigate through and it has good information to argue for or against it. My wiki could use a lot of work for some reason, I feel like it didn' meet all of the requirements for the rubric. I could add more information to the benefits tabs, or add a page explaining the students reactions to having a four day school week and all year. If I had more time, maybe i could transfer this to a weebly, only because I think a weebly is more attractive to the eye. I learned (again) how to put information on the internet and how to make a wikispace. I hope that my teacher likes my wiki.~
